Cloud_Profile_Account_Status

Your account, in one place

Profile is where your account lives. Update your business details, change your password without waiting on an email link, and see exactly where you stand before you touch anything permanent.

The Account status card is the part worth reading. It lists every group you belong to and what deleting your account would mean for each one — the groups you own, the ones you're just a member of, and whether anything is blocking you. Manage Group takes you straight to Manage Access if you need to act on it.

Owned groups come first

You can't delete your account while you still own a group with people in it — deleting would take their rota, checklists, invoices and stock records with it.

BusiTools tells you why, names the group, and gives you the three steps: open Manage Access, remove every member, then come back and delete. Make sure the others have what they need first, because the group's data goes when the group does.

Blocked, not stuck

Owning a group with active members is what stops the deletion — not the group itself. Remove the last active member and the block lifts.

Deactivating someone isn't the same as removing them, and the difference cuts both ways. A deactivated member no longer blocks the deletion, but they still hold a seat on your plan — so deactivating won't free space to invite someone new. Only removal does both.

Removal is Team → tap the person → Management → Remove from Group. Tap Manage Group and BusiTools drops you straight into Manage Access to get it done.

The status card tells you what you'll lose

The Account status card is filled in when the screen loads, so you know where you stand before you commit to anything.

Own a group with nobody else in it and deleting your account takes the group and all its data with it. Belong to someone else's group and you only lose your access — the shifts, checklists and expenses you recorded stay with the group, still under your name, because they're the owner's business records.

One last, very clear warning

It also handles billing for you. Deleting the group cancels your paid subscription automatically, so you're never left paying for a group that no longer exists. Cancellation is immediate and the rest of the current billing period isn't refunded — so if you'd rather use up time you've already paid for, end your plan at busitools.net first and delete the group when it runs out.

In the confirmation dialog, Cancel backs out and changes nothing; Delete goes through.

Change your password without leaving the app

Your Profile carries your email, the date the account was created, your display name and your invite code — the code you share so a group owner can invite you.

Below that is Reset Password. Tap Update and you can set a new one there and then. No email link, no waiting for a message to arrive, no signing back in.

Two fields and it's done

The Change Password dialog asks for the new password twice. Both fields have a show/hide toggle so you can check what you've typed, and it needs at least six characters with the two entries matching before it will go through.

Confirm and the password changes immediately on your account. If it's rejected — too weak, for instance — the dialog stays open and tells you, so nothing is lost. Cancel backs out and changes nothing.
